Celebrating Chef Floyd Cardoz

Floyd Cardoz was a celebrated Indian-born American chef who passed away from the Covid-19 virus in March of 2020. His wife, Barkha, was left the gigantic task of compiling his decades of work, media collaborations, recipes, and photographs. For his new legacy website, she wanted to make sure that it would be as warm, welcoming, and dynamic as the chef himself.

Hired by Cardoz Legacy LLC, I combined my decade of working with chefs as a freelance food writer and my marketing design skills to create an immersive, engaging, and consistently updated web community. The massive project included collecting and archiving Floyd’s work, outlining and implementing website design, food copywriting packaging and marketing materials, and designing social media images to be used throughout media collaborations and project rollouts. On top of that, I oversee new creative projects so to help make sure Cardoz Legacy LLCs purpose and mission are secure across all new projects.
