Antony Raymond (Director/Playwright) has managed to build an assorted, wide-ranging body of New York theater in the last decade. He is a classically-trained actor turned playwright and director. His critically acclaimed written works produced in New York City include PRETTY BABIES (13th Street Rep) GIN AND MILK (CSV Flamboyan); THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A GUY WHO KNEW ME, PART ONE (LaMama); ELSINORE COUNTY (Lion Theatre at Theatre Row, and Cherry Lane Studio Theater); YEAH, I MET THIS GIRL (Zipper Factory); LUSTYNESS: PLAYS ABOUT THIS GUY NAMED LOU (Under St. Marks Theater) and JULIO! (Kraine Theater), also all directed by Raymond. Currently, he is directing the one woman show, BETTE DAVIS AIN’T FOR SISSIES, by Jessica Sherr which has had runs at 59E59 Theaters and the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, Scotland.  He is the Artistic Director of Elsinore County, which has been recently nominated for two New York Innovative Theater Awards.Antony is also sometimes that hot guy behind the bar you flirt with while he makes you a really stiff drink. He's smart, sexy, and a really good dude. Jacqueline performed with him for many years (long, long ago now), and occasionally they still team up for a creative project.We talked in excess with Antony about how drama plays a part in being the bartender, being the boyfriend, and being the playwright.
