The Dusty Baker Recipes

Jacqueline Raposo is a seasoned freelance food writer and journalistic interviewer who knows the best questions to ask a chef. She is a white Azorean American woman with black hair. In this photo by Chris Sandas, she wears a black shirt and red apron and is standing in front of a NYC skyscene, throwing flour into the air and smiling into the camera.

Food restrictions because of chronic illness or allergies should not equal a life of boring eats! As someone who was taken off of gluten, dairy, and other basics in the 90s (because of Lyme disease) and got a Celiac diagnosis years later, I was an early adopter and practitioner of allergy-friendly recipes.

Moving past trends to favorite staples, I spent years posting gluten-free adaptations and original recipes on TheDustyBaker.com. I’m in the process of re-testing some greatest hits you’ll soon see here. Until then, go to the old site to explore some of the mouth-watering delights below!

Yes, everything below is gluten-free! Most are dairy-free as well!
